About Our Holiday Homes For Sale
Our Holiday Homes are sited on level pitches. Set in 5 acres of immaculately maintained surroundings, Smithy Park has a garden-like appearance. Each Holiday Home pitch has, patio, storage box, connection to all services including electric, piped gas and a cabled TV aerial with some satellite channels. As a Holiday Home Park not a Residential site we are open 10 months of the year, our season is 1st March to 5th January each year.

Exceptional Location
The splendidly varied countryside is wonderful to look at and a paradise to walk in. The Park has good access to the Montgomeryshire Canal towpath, ideal for walking and cycling and for dog owners. There is a small children’s play area, with swings, slides and a climbing frame for the little ones to enjoy. Just a few yards away, the village has The Abermule Inn to quench your thirst. The local Community Centre is a very short walk and has tennis courts, bowling green and other facilities available, with a small membership charge.
Local Activities And Visits
There is free fishing on the River Severn alongside the Park, which is fresh water fishing includes Trout, Salmon, Grayling, Chubb and other coarse fish.
If you need more, then the local market town of Newtown has a lot to offer. It’s just 5 minutes in the car or a regular bus journey from the Park entrance. Supermarkets, The Bear Lanes Mall, recently renovated traditional Market Hall, boutiques and curio shops can serve your practical needs and provide some retail therapy. The Robert Owen museum, Oriel Gallery or Theatre Hafren should cater for your cultural and entertainment needs. Welshpool is another bustling market town, with everything from specialist shops to Farmers Markets. There’s a steam railway, canal cruises and the famous Powis Castle nearby. The local town of Montgomery also has castle ruins and grounds with spectacular views over the countryside, well worth visiting.
